  1. You can also use a regular blender to make baby food. We use our Bella. Make sure to read some reviews on the K’tan and use for older babies. We started with a Moby which was good for our son as a newborn and smaller infant but it was no longer safe once he reached over 15 lbs. We now use a woven wrap or our Ergo.

    1. Hi Tina,
I agree! If we already had a blender that we loved, I think we would have reconsidered the Baby Bullet. But, since we don’t have a blender that we are happy with, I am pretty excited that we found a product that will cater to baby food making.

Also, thank you for the tips on the baby carriers! The Baby K’Tan is approved from 8 to 35 pounds. I’ve heard wonderful things about the Moby and the Ergo though! If the K’Tan doesn’t work out, I’ll be looking into those!

      Thanks!

  2. If I could do it again I think I’d get a dockatot and do semi-co-sleeping. I would go light on the pumping stuff until you know what’s going to happen with breastfeeding. I have 4 and planned to be all 4 times and only managed it past 6 weeks with one! Good luck! The list looks good. I’d probably go for a ninja if I were getting a new blender and look into baby led weaning.

    1. Thank you so much for this advice! I am going to get the basics for breastfeeding and then wait and see if I’m able to do it! Our insurance purchased our pump for us and I’m planning on waiting to purchase the Tommee Tippee system until the baby is born and we know it is going to work for us. (It is currently on our registry, but I’m doubting anyone is likely to purchase it for us. And, since it is on our registry, it will be eligible for a completion discount after the baby is born.)
