As a parent, one of the most dreaded tasks is potty training. We all know we have to face the battle at some point, but that doesn’t make it any easier when the time comes.

To help with this task, my husband and I went about researching picture books that we could use to help our daughter understand what it was we were trying to teach her.

Below are the best potty training books for girls that we were able to find readily available!

“Big Girls Go Potty” by Marianne Richmond

“Goldilocks and the Just Right Potty” by Leigh Hodgkinson

I’m a sucker for all stories that are a retelling of classics. This one is no different!

“My Big Girl Potty” by Joanna Cole

“Once Upon A Potty” by Alona Frankel

This book is very thorough in its explanations of potty training. If you already find the topic a little “cringey” to talk about (I totally get it!) then this book may be a little too much. Otherwise, this is a cute book with lots of pictures. There is also a “boy” version of this book available.

“The Potty Book for Girls” by Alyssa Satin Capucilli

“A Potty For Me!” by Karen Katz

“Sarah On The Potty” by Pauline Oud

While all of these books are available on Amazon, if you’re wanting to save some money, consider borrowing these titles from your local library!
